Best Vegan Restaurants in Frontenac

Olive and Oak is one of our favorite restaurants! The food quality and service level never disappoint! The menu is very unique and always changing!

I can’t say enough good things about The Crossing. The food was some of the BEST I have ever had!!!! From the amuse bouche onion/blue cheese soufflé with crostinis (and I don’t even like blue cheese) and warm bread (was told the flour is imported from Italy) to the mushroom soup, the roasted beet salad, the rabbit ravioli, the escargot, the sea scallops and the fried strawberry pie (pastry is made with beef tallow)…..all were on point and absolutely wonderful. I was shocked that we raved about ALL of the dishes. There was no, “It was alright” on any of the dishes. 2 people, 8 dishes and they were all melt-in-your-mouth delicious. When does that ever happen. My friend had the green chili gimlet (just a tingle of heat that did not over power the drink) and it was very tasty. I had wine and was able to split 2 Sancerre options into half pours so that I could taste each. And let’s not forget about our waiter Sonny. So informative, helpful, knowledgeable and engaged in conversation with us. He was awesome!!! Suffice it to say, I will be returning regularly! Thanks Crossing for excellent food and excellent service.

Food was good but I will be back to try some of the beer selection they had and because Elise was a fantastic and extremely attentive waitress even on a very busy night.

Dinner was delicious! Darling waiter who knew my standing order: Taco w/ vegan cheese! Always a great evening! Thank You Once Again and So Happy that Elyse Is back and doing well ♥️Susan Rich SEE YOU AGAIN SOON !
