Best Vegan Restaurants in Los Alamitos / Cypress

Something for everyone - chicken, turkey, salmon, Mexican dishes, etc. and seemingly every possible side dish. Not fancy, but it doesn't need to be, just comfortable. The staff kept the chafing dishes full and immediately cleaned up any food dropped by customers. Nice environment. Every staff member we interacted with couldn't have been more friendly. I must have heard "Happy Thanksgiving" thirty or forty times, which we appreciated as it was very sincere. The staff did an excellent job of clearing tables and being available for anything we needed. We intend to attend next year.

No this isn't hot Texas or Cajunn style BBQ. It is sweet and yummy. The service is always terrific because the servers all act like they really enjoy working there. We have never had a touchy server or a ding bat! We probably eat dinner there once a week as our special treat. They also give you ample servings. We always walk away full and with a bag of delicious left overs. Family atmosphere, great music from the 50's, 60's and 70's. Right now they are playing Christmas music! My husband says they make the best Margaritas in town!

Excellent food in great setting, wonderful service as always by the attentive and professional Lopera staff. We look forward to every time we return whether it be for a business event or privately.

The hummus and chopped salad I had today were absolutely delicious. This is a great place to meet my vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free friends--so many choices!

If you've never been to Irrawaddy's you need to try it. I brought two other couples there for a special meal and it was fantastic. We ordered all of our food "family style" so everyone had an opportunity to taste the different dishes. Everything was delish! We started out with the Paratha Bread, the Tea Leaf Salad and then each person ordered a main dish (all of which were great). My only complaint is that they are in Stanton and it's a long drive from all of our cities (Orange, Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa) respectively, but worth the drive. Can't say enough good things about this place!
