Executive Chef Anthony Martarana has carefully curated a new American menu. Featuring all day brunch on Saturday & Sunday. Any outdoor reservations are under infrared heaters, Some are under our propane heaters, open air, sidewalk seating or patio seating, not enclosed. Should you reserve outdoor seating, please dress warmly! Brunch reservations are 1.5 hour for up to 5 people, 1.45 for 6 or more people. Please note, we must stay close to these time slots in order for us to safely seat everyone. We only hold tables for 15 minutes if we do not receive a phone call that you will be late. Rustic Root is one of our favorite places to dine as well as hang at the bar. Food is delicious. There are no bad choices. Menu changes throughout the year which means everything is thought out and prepared with care. Drinks are also staple. Best Smoked Old Fashioned that I have experienced. Staff is very warm and friendly but a special shoutout to Hailey, Sam & Gio who all made a special evening memorable!

We had a lovely experience. We were seated at a rear table and it felt nice and relaxing. The food was good, we ordered the 4 course menu again. Always love the cheese and the pretzel bread is perfect. I wish they wouldn't skimp on the sauces for the main part and yes, I know you can tell them but it feels annoying to do so. All in all I recommend this place.

We went at an off hour (2 PM) so got stuck between shifts. We lost our waiter halfway through the service. On the plus side we were able to speak with the chef. All of the food was fresh and inventive and locally sourced when possible (Shinnecock Bay scallops). This is a gastropub so expect elevated food in casual but cozy surroundings.
