Best Vegan Restaurants in Midwood

Our time at BK High Low today was lovely! It was the perfect way to spend a birthday with good friends. We sat in the garden on the coldest day of the year but mostly were cozy beside our frozen toes, which is just the nature of being anywhere in the cold. The tea was delicious and they had such a diverse selection. The scones were fluffy and beautifully textured but we were not impressed with the sandwiches. The desserts were good but we agreed the tea and scones are the best part. I will say that we were a party of 7 outside so we were harder to reach but the service was not outstanding. All in all, I would surely recommend the Grand Vanderbilt at least once for the special experience that full afternoon tea is. It doesn't hurt that the HIgh Low's parlor spaces are so delightful! I will return again for cream tea without the extra food but I am so glad I chose BHL for our get-together:)

Outstanding from start to finish. Delicious cocktails, baked clams, crab salad ,filet mignon and scampi. Best service from warm staff that always make us feel welcome. Thanks to all.

I called at 2:30am New Year’s Day for a 3 am reservation for a party of 5. THE AUDACITY!!! But the hostess was nothing less than incredible! The frozen lavender margarita was the best thing ever! I got a lobster mac n cheese to go while we enjoyed more than satisfying entrees. This spot definitely set the tone for the year.

Love our meal at strange delight. The room is surprisingly beautiful. The cocktails were very well-made. And the dishes we tried were wonderful. Prices are definitely high, the gin ramos fizz is $10 more than when it was reviewed in August, but I would return. The food, drinks and ambulance were wonderful.
