Best Vegan Restaurants in North Beach

This was our first visit to Ideale and we were delighted! Many friends have enjoyed themselves at Ideale and it was highly recommended. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly and soon were enjoying warm appetizers and chilled Prosecco! My companion’s gnocchi was heavenly—light and fluffy and delicious! Some of the best I’ve ever tasted. My tortellini was likewise perfect. For dessert we shared a delicious tiramisu, and soon we were off to the theater where we raved about our delicious meal right up to curtain time! I hope we get back to Ideale again soon!

Greens was always a favorite when I lived in San Francisco many years ago. The interior has changed as has the menu. I love the interior, the view, of course the food. We had Brunch. The egg dishes delicious! Salads as well. We tried the Apricot scones. Everything was wonderful, including our welcoming & attentive waiter. A very enjoyable experience for all of us. Can’t wait to come back soon. Highly recommend.

Walked in and our group was seated promptly (with reservation). Ambiance is on point and our server was efficient and food came out quickly (maybe a little much to have everything arrive at once). The meal was absolutely delicious. We tried several dishes and everything was good. Even the drinks were great. The dessert on the other hand was lacking big time. The apple crisp was not cooked at all. It arrived in a hot bowl but the apples and the crisp were completely raw. And the cookie dish was lacking flavor. But overall would definitely come back here!

The best Chinese cuisine I have experienced. Lively atmosphere where you can observe the chefs cooking. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and provided great suggestions. We ordered pork dumplings, chow main and Peking duck. All were excellent. Expensive but the experience justified the cost. Will happily return!

50th Anniversary. There were 12 of us. They handled us flawlessly on a very busy night. Service and food were excellent. Watching the fast paced staff was entertaining. High recommend this restaurant.
