100% Plant-Based restaurant in Wicker Park. We have always had the core belief of being as good to ourselves (and the earth) as possible, but as we grow, we have always wanted to do more. With this desire, we decided to open Bloom Plant Based kitchen. Not only is eating a more plant-based diet healthier and more forgiving to one’s body, but it is significantly better for the environment. However, with healthy plant-based options not being the popular choice, we know we have stiff competition. Therefore, our intention with Bloom is to focus on bringing flavorful, healthy, and affordable plant-based food to families while also being desirable and appealing to everyone regardless of their diet.

We like to say that we are International Vegan Restaurant. That means our food is 100% plant based and Globally Inspired. We have a few American classics like homemade veggie burgers, mac and cheese and of course Nachos. However, we also have plenty of healthy options. Our Kitchen Manager specializes in creating comfort dishes from different cultures by making food that is hearty and flavorful, but still healthy. Many food items will have a focus on plants, rather than trying to mimic meat. Reading our menu is like traveling the globe with the different options we will have.     Our server, Lilly wanted us to have a very good experience. The chef did a phenomenal job of making each dish delicious. It felt like each dish was specially made to order. Unfortunately the hostess had no recommendations for parking. This ended up being a very frustrating situation. I highly recommend you walk or take Uber.

    Chicken was not moist, kind of on the dry-ish side. I go there for breakfast and lunch, totally love. It was my first time for dinner. It was our anniversary. Our server could have told us that we were getting a glass of champagne. If I would have known, I would not have ordered the wine thus we left a 15% tip instead of what we normally leave 20%.

    Love it here! Our first round of pita was cold and they quickly fixed that. The classic hummus is very pricey and there wasn’t much in the bowl but it is so good! The almond and garlic spread is superb. Waiter was awesome.

    Every bit of our experience was perfection. We were a party of six and enjoyed Caesar salad, arugula salad, fettuccine Alfredo, penne a la vodka, meatballs, quatro formaggi pizze, tiramisu, vanilla gelato/strawberry (can’t remember the name… and espresso martinis… all amazing. Service was great. We will be back.
