- PPaulAsheville / Western North Carolina •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoExcellent first experience at Luminosa. David was attentive and knew the menu inside and out. Only hiccup--and we didn't really care that much--was that the first course came out well before our first round of drinks arrived. But those bone marrow tots were piping hot and delicious, and we'd rather have tots hot and ready than lingering on the line... Lemon pizza second course was quite good--plenty for 4 to share. Entrees were really well prepared: the half chicken was as good as advertised by David, the coppa steaks were **outstanding**, and the skirt was perfectly cooked. We also had gnocchi, fusilli, polenta, kohlrabi and spinach--all plentiful to share and well executed. Everything was hot when it hit the table, which is vital for a great meal. The staff was on point, and there was good support on service. Desserts have to be next level to really stand out during a great meal, but the honeycomb concoction with the semi-freddo was inventive and delicious. This particular meal was one of just a handful I can recall here in Asheville where the $130/person/all-in was *really* worth it. But it was, and we'll be back.More infoLuminosaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Asheville•4.8
- CCATHERINESeattle / Eastern Washington •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoHad a lovely experience at Posana. Our waitstaff was very friendly and accommodating and especially nice to us on a big event evening. The food. So good. We shared an assortment of small plates including the pear burratta (get the burrata), roasted veggies, grain salad, and cheese biscuits. AND the tahini tiramasu to end on. So delicious. Thanks Posana!More infoPosanaPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Asheville•4.7
- BBruceRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •49 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoIt had been a long time since we’d been able to dine at BB but realized how much we missed it. Cocktails were perfect. Everyone’s meal in the group of 4 enjoyed their meal and we all had coconut cake. We will be back.More infoThe BlackbirdPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Asheville•4.5

- KMKarlaMVIPHouston •27 reviews4.0Dined on 23 Sept 2024We had the Tostones appetizer platter, which was plenty to split four ways before our dinner, and was very unique and tasty. The Cubano sandwich was fantastic. My husband enjoyed the ceviche and a friend enjoyed the Arroz con Pollo (huge portion). I had the Garden Grove cocktail, which was good, but mostly I just tasted cucumber. My friends had the Hemingway Sunset, which unfortunately neither one of them loved. We’ve been here previously when it was quite crowded and loud, but on a Monday evening, it was almost empty. Because it had just rained, we opted to sit inside and ended up at a booth. The one downside to our experiences was that the overall temperature in the restaurant was quite warm and sitting in that elevated booth directly under the bright lights made it uncomfortably hot and bright. I wish there had been away to turn the lights down or off. I actually had to get up from the table and go outside to cool off at one point.More infoHemingway's CubaPrice: Moderate• Cuban• Asheville•4.2
