River House does have a dressy casual dress code consisting of no shorts, flip flops, baseball hats or tank tops in the dining room for the gentlemen. Comparable attire for the ladies. We had a fantastic birthday dinner celebration for my wife. The complimentary champagne toast for my wife was a nice touch. Our Calamari appetizer was perfect. The Skillet Roasted Grouper, Blackened Carolina Red Fish and Low Country Lobster Shrimp Carbonara were all delicious.

We started with a NY Eve ball drop cocktail which was fun and tasty; Pickled shrimp for a shared app for the table- delish! Our entrees were all very good: - southern chicken salad sandwich, fired chicken cutlet on brioche, shrimp and grits and Mahi Mahi sandwich —all freshly prepped and served hot. We had an enjoyable time and will return. Glad we made a reservation! Thank you.
