- KKhanhOrange County •8 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoBenihana offers a great dining experience with delicious food and a chill, relaxed ambiance. The dishes are flavorful, well-prepared, and served in generous portions, making it a fantastic spot for enjoying Japanese cuisine. The lively teppanyaki cooking adds a fun, interactive element to the meal, further enhancing the overall experience. However, the service could use improvement. While the food and atmosphere shine, the waitress seemed rushed, offering only brief interactions that felt impersonal. A little more friendliness and attentiveness would go a long way in complementing the otherwise enjoyable dining experience. Overall, Benihana is worth visiting for its excellent food and ambiance, but a focus on improving customer service would make it truly exceptional.More infoBenihana - Newport Beach, CAPrice: Moderate• Japanese• Newport Beach•4.1
- CCarolannSan Francisco Bay Area •19 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoExcellent service, even for our large group of 9. We sat on the patio, as we’d requested, and it was a bit chilly, but they almost immediately brought heaters over. The arancini, truffle bread and meatballs were yummy.More infoNorth Italia – IrvinePrice: Moderate• Italian• Irvine•4.5
- SSKYEOrange County •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoOverall it’s a great value. The service, food, and ambiance justify the price of the food. I feel like that’s rare these days. The restaurant is beautiful. staff is on it and super nice. I wish I could Remeber our servers name so I could shout him out but I came on 12/27 7:30 and sat in a red booth. Maybe I’m weird but I love a nice restroom at a restaurant. This one is very clean and pretty. The thick napkin hand towels are luxe. Food came out fast. The after dinner coffees were amazing. The same price as a boutique coffee shop but actually good! My one critique- Although I enjoyed the playlist, I’m not a fan of loud music in an intimate setting. The base was extreme and felt like it was rattling the table.More infoHabana- Irvine SpectrumPrice: Expensive• Cuban• Irvine•4.5
- CCristinaOrange County •57 reviews5.0Dined on 25 Dec 2024Food was delicious! They were able to accommodate a list of allergens and make just about anything on the menu. Ordered the sea bass which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We also had a prime rib and chicken piccata. The piccata was a bit rich but good. The sides are large enough for 3-4 people. We ordered the Caesar salad and Brussel sprouts. Service was a little slow but it was Christmas Eve. The ambiance, hospitality and food make it worth it!More infoBenny & Mary'sPrice: Expensive• Fusion / Eclectic• Irvine•4.5
