From the ambiance of this beautifully decorated 1850 building, to the wonderful staff, each with a smile to greet and serve you. But the food; that was the star of the day! The calamari was exceptional and definitely not you mama's calamari! It's a must have. And the goat cheese salad, amazing! The seafood pasta was loaded with lobster, crab and shrimp, and swirled in a luxurious sauce. The pork shank with risotto was very tasty and very filling. We ordered the the bread pudding and cheesecake to go as we were so full after our meal, and will have it this morning with our coffee. I just know both will be a great start to the day. I was thrilled to see the restaurant had reopened, and I wasn’t disappointed in the very least. The food, the service ambience were all excellent. Our server, Sammie, was delightful and the venue is gorgeous - Old school classy but not stuffy. We are foodies from New Orleans where food is a Way of life and this place was on par with some of the best in NOLA. We had the steak tartar, the Brussel sprouts, the swordfish, the Cobia, and the short ribs. Highly recommend all. We also enjoyed several inventive cocktails. Both the hostess and bartender, Delonte, were outstanding and went above and beyond for accommodating my group! 10s across the board. I did not have any food but the drink were popping and Delonte did his big ones with the way those drinks were flowing. It was almost closing time and did not want to leave that’s how wonderful the hostess and Delonte were! I highly highly recommend!
