- JJerethLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoLoved our Christmas Eve Dinner at Benihana in Arcadia! There was an unexpected 30-minute wait for our table but it was all good, the place was packed and noisy and fun. I was surprised the meal and presentation seemed identical to what I remember from 20+ years ago - they have a game plan and they are sticking to it! Highly recommended!More infoBenihana - Santa Anita, CAPrice: Moderate• Japanese• Arcadia•4

Delicious and beautifully prepared sandwiches and exquisite desserts! We enjoyed the upgraded Huntington Tea which included Prosecco, a lobster roll and a sumptuous little chocolate, cherry dessert. Everything came together beautifully for an absolutely lovely experience. We will definitely return.More infoThe Huntington's Rose Garden Tea RoomPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• South Pasadena•4.7

We had a big party of 18, but everything went well and the food at Craft by Smoke and Fire was awesome. We will definitely go back again.More infoCraft by Smoke and Fire - ArcadiaPrice: Moderate• Barbecue• Arcadia•4.3
- HHectorLos Angeles •3 reviews5.0Dined on 28 Nov 2024If you're craving authentic Japanese food, Shin-Sen-Gumi Yakitori & Men-Ya in Alhambra is a must-visit! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with an authentic vibe that transports you straight to Japan. I started with their famous Japanese meat skewers—absolutely delicious! The yakitori was perfectly grilled, with just the right amount of char and tenderness. The flavors were spot-on, and each skewer was a delightful burst of savory goodness. Next, I had the ramen. The broth was rich and flavorful, with a great depth that comes from hours of careful preparation. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the toppings (from soft-boiled eggs to tender slices of pork) really elevated the dish. It's easily one of the best ramen bowls I've had. To round out the meal, I enjoyed a glass of cold sake. It was smooth and refreshing, a perfect complement to the meal. Overall, everything was great. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food came out quickly without sacrificing quality. Whether you're a fan of yakitori or ramen, this place does it right. I’ll definitely be back for more!More infoShin-Sen-Gumi Yakitori & Men-Ya - AlhambraPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Alhambra•4.6

We ordered the happy hour oysters (12) and an order of the clams & mussels. Both fantastic! All 4 dinner entrees my family ordered were presented beautifully. Big portions and great flavor. Service was great. Many servers tended to us. Water never went dry. Enjoyed our experience. We will return.More infoThe Dive Oyster BarPrice: Moderate• Oyster Bar• Temple City•4.8
