Specializing in aburi, or flamed-seared, sushi, the act of applying flame directly and lightly searing sushi enhances the natural flavours and textures of the seafood. Miku owner, Seigo Nakamura, innovated the Aburi concept by crafting specialty sauces using non-traditional Japanese ingredients to pair with each type of fish.Located at the corner of Howe Street and Canada Place WayMichelin RecommendedWinner of Georgia Straight's Golden Plate for Best Japanese Restaurant in VancouverTimeOut's 20 best restaurants in Vancouver to eat in 2022OpenTable's 22 Restaurants That Define Vancouver Dining 2022Executive Chef: Kazuhiro Hayashi

Food and service were excellent. I asked for a drinkable dry red wine it was perfect. Being told we had a time limit on the table was a little different, but not a first for us. We did not feel rushed but we knew we needed to move along. Cheers George

Such a delicious meal. The servers were friendly and put up with me and my group who were probably a bit loud and a little tipsy. We really enjoyed ourselves. Next time we’ll keep it classy.

Excellent dining experience. Went with the family for dinner and our server was so friendly and attentive. We had a citrus allergy and they were very good about it. Whenever there was a dish with citrus, they made sure to explain and let us know. They also had high chairs available. Food was excellent and our server's recommendations were spot on. Everything we had was delicious and fresh, but the ones that stood out were of course the Oshi and Aburi, lamb chops, sable fish, Mushroom risotto, and the cranberry Hojicha cheesecake for dessert.

Absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the food and drinks are superb, so is the view and so is service (for the most part). I almost always order from the special or seasonal menu, and this time was no exception. Winter salad, scallops, special drink and espresso. The ingredients are simple but masterfully prepared. Sometimes difficult to get a reservation, so worth planning ahead. Highly recommend.

Great food, great views, great service. Got the smoked salmon reuben based on other reviews (even though I was doubtful of the salmon and sauerkraut combo) and it was really good. My companion got the pastrami which was also really good. Will definitely come here again.
