Café Napoli is a family owned restaurant, established in 1989 by Tony and Kathy Pietoso. Quickly becoming a success, they moved the small basement restaurant to a larger location at the corner of Forsyth and Bemiston in the heart of Clayton. In 2003, sons Ande and Kye expanded their family restaurant by adding Bar Napoli, a swank cocktail lounge. A few years later, Napoli Reserve was added onto Bar Napoli allowing for private event space and an additional bar and lounge for the weekends. After years of a flourishing business, Kathy and Tony decided to take their ventures West to Town and Country where they opened their second location, Napoli2, managed by Ande.     One of my three favorite restaurants in STL and the perfect place for a fantastic birthday dinner with my wife. A couple of things to note: when I asked for a recommendation on a white wine to go with my dinner, our waiter brought out two different samples for me to try instead of just the one I asked to taste. I went with the second option that I hadn’t even expected to try. The other was the noise/music level when we first arrived was noticeably higher than it normally is. Within 15 minutes of arrival, however, it had been turned down. Food was terrific. North Atlantic Salmon was perfectly prepared. And the Pumpkin Dessert was delicious.

    We had great wine, delicious food and a helpful waiter and it was reasonably priced I felt. Next time I would like to try the chalet's out back...I have always loved the patio at Scape / now Edera!

    We had a group of 6 and the experience was wonderful. Our servers, Wendy and Emma, were excellent! They were attentive and joked around with us throughout the night. We had a nice private room in the back, so our group was able to enjoy the evening with some privacy. The food was delicious and the drinks were great! Overall, one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in many years!

    We’ve been here about 5 times. Drinks and service has always been excellent. But the food has been very average. They did a menu change since the last time we went, and everything we got was amazing! The food is now back on par with their service and drinks. Excited to go back again!

    If you’re looking for an authentic French restaurant in St. Louis, Brasserie by Niche is it. The space is so charming - you really do feel like you have been transported to Paris. And the cuisine is simply superb. My server Abby was wonderful and took great care of me. I will definitely be going back soon.
