Les Bubbles is a Parisian steakhouse on the corner of Wickham and Little Street in Fortitude Valley, forged in the very same building that housed the notorious illegal casino, bath-house and brothel at the centre of the Fitzgerald Inquiry. While the card decks and kerb servers are all but gone, the building’s colourful history remains pinned to every wall. Had the set menu with the matched wines which was delicious. The highlight of the night was the thoughtfulness in the wine selection and some really interesting and diverse flavours. We loved chatting with the sommelier about the wines and he seemed to know his stuff and love his job.

Tried Nonbei for the first time tonight for my belated birthday dinner. Got the $95 Deluxe Buffet and was not disappointed. Now that I’ve done it once and have a better idea of portion sizes and timing, I’ll get better at making the most of our 1.5hr sitting. The sides were good, the meat was excellent. Will do again. Would recommend.

Such a unique and refined experience - like no degustation we have done before. Every course was so delicious, highly recommend. We had two 9 course menus and one 9 course vegan which was also incredible!!
