Best Fun Restaurants in Uptown

We always have a wonderful time at Summer House!! The ambience is so warm and bright. The food is delicious!! And there is a perfect table for our large family!! Best is the service. We had a lovely waitress and overall a really great night. We will be back!! Thank you!

Daisies was phenomenal all around for us. The service, ambience, food were all on top notch. We had the rigatoni, stracci, the potted carrots, and the onion dip. It was honestly some of the best pastas we’ve ever had! The appetizers were also excellent. We will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!! This is the place where we bring our out of town friends/family because it is so fantastic! The owners have put so much thought into every detail it's amazing. The food, however, is meh. It is typical bar food but the fries are sub par. They are soft and floppy, barely cooked and served medium warm. In the fire I would request extra crispy fries to ensure that they are cooked properly. Still, the fries did not impact the great time we have every year:)

It’s crazy to think there are only three of these restaurants left in the world. We used to go to the Oak Brook location but now we finally got to visit the one in Chicago. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that this was the original one. It’s a classic French bistro fare with amazing servers and food. I highly recommend the steak and frites!  make sure to get your reservation early because we had to dine at 4:45 PM due to later dinner times not being available

Great experience with the food, service, and drinks. Could not have been happier.
