Best Healthy Restaurants in Ancaster

Server was very responsive to dietary needs of our group (no gluten or dairy), and offered a gluten-free menu. Server followed up to confirm choices were also dairy free. Server allowed appropriate time to make both beverage and dinner selections, and checked in to monitor our needs, without being intrusive. A positive dining experience.

We were absolutely stunned by the work done in this place, the service was in point, always had to keep everything clean on the table and prepare for the next service, keeping the water and drinks always fresh. The ambience had a very cool vibe and the food was just a delight. We chose the tasting menu, and the wine was well paired and matched the taste of the meal. We were very surprised by how much food we had and felt like we ate for hours, which we did! Potions were perfect the presentation was beautiful and not too over the top. A Michelin nod experience we would 100% recommend.

We truly enjoyed our whole experience at Ancaster Mill. I hadn't been there in many many years so wasn't sure what to expect. From arriving to leaving the staff were courteous, prompt, engaging, and the meal was fantastic. I had the Yellowfish Tuna which was prepared perfectly and my partner had surf and turf with mashed potatoes which was so yummy. To top it off we had Butternut Squash Cake which is twist on Carrot cake...LOVED IT. We are looking forward to going back in the new year for another date night.

How could you not give 5 stars. I've never had an experience at The Keg that was below expectation. The staff at The Keg are always amazing going that extra mile for you. A special thanks to our server PEI Kaylee. You belong to the group of elite individuals who are a standout from the rest. You made us feel like we were the only ones there. It was perfect! Lovely way to siens a birthday lunch for my friend. What made it exceptional was the service ,Steven was amazing, polite, professional and funny! Will request him again if we are so fortunate! Have a great weekend . Cindy and Sharon
