Best Healthy Restaurants in Anchorage

The food was delicious. Mussels and chilled shrimp were so fresh. Husband loved the salmon and literally ate every bite. I had the grouper cheeks with shrimp over risotto. The sauce was amazing and portion larger than expected. My old fashion was made perfectly, and Sam Adam's was available draft. The service really made the night. Waitress was prompt with everything, super friendly- you just know when someone is seasoned in their job. Her recommended dessert was ordered to go & we enjoyed it later that same evening while snug on the couch. Noise level raised a bit here and there but not at all bothersome, especially for a busy Saturday night. Ambiance works for a small group or romantic dinner for 2.

Valentine dinner was a great experience. The staff was very kind and attentive to us. The food was delicious and the drinks were also great. She had the fried chicken with skillet potatoes and gritz and I had the NY strip and asparagus. We would recommend and will be returning.

Ramsi’s has a variety of around the world choices of meals. Each one has its own unique flavor from India, Italy, Ethiopia, Middle East and more. The vast flavor choices on the menu made us want to order one of everything! We cannot speak to all the waiters/waitresses, but Lauren was amazing! She has such an easy way of relating to customers and checks on things without inserting herself. She makes you feel like a regular even when you have never been and live so far away you might “not be this way again”. The portions are immense! We will eat for several days on what we brought home! Plus we will gladly enjoy the flavors each time!!!

Ross was our server and treated us like VIPs. There was a large convention in town and usually that causes individual attention to go out the window but not here. It was my 10 year old grandson’s birthday and they made him feel like a grown up. It was a magical experience worth every penny. I think this is the first time since COVID that I felt like we were actually having a fine dining experience. The food was fabulous we got the 3 tiered seafood tower - yes it is expensive but as far as a return on investment it was over the top. The presentation is impressive and each item was perfectly prepared. Ross and the rest of the staff went out of their way on a very busy night and I think we are going to make it an annual event. Mesh is “the” regular lunch spot for a group of friends. Three of us tried the special - butternut squash risotto with blackened shrimp and scallops. Delicious - I would definitely order again - although three others had my favorite - the short rib grilled cheese, which should not be missed at lunch. Jacob was an outstanding server - Very personable, witty and attentive, not to mention patient with a large group of ladies. See you next month!
