- LLisaChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe came over to check in about 15 mins before our reservations and we were seared immediately. Everyone was so friendly and polite. The place was decorated beautifully. We love the fairies that come around to the table no matter how old you are. They were so sweet and make the experience even more enjoyable. Our waiter was wonderful so attentive, never having to look for him, always refilling our glasses and providing prompt and friendly service. Food came out quick and was very good. We never felt rushed. We were able to go by the tree and take pictures. It was just a fabulous time. We had our first experience there last year and now we’ve made this an annual tradition. We look forward to many more years to come.More infoThe Walnut Room - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / Loop•4.6

The crispy veggie egg rolls, chicken dumplings, signature fried rice, and shaking beef are musts. The cocktail program could use some TLC but the food is so good it doesn’t matter.More infoLe Colonial - ChicagoPrice: Very Expensive• Vietnamese• Gold Coast / Streeterville•4.8
- MMargieSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoRestaurant Review: The Girl and The Goat The Girl and The Goat continues to solidify its reputation as one of Chicago’s must-visit dining destinations. With a focus on bold flavors and a playful approach to globally inspired dishes, this restaurant delivers a truly memorable experience. Highlights: •Bread and Pimento: This dish is deceptively simple but executed to perfection. The warm, freshly baked bread pairs beautifully with the creamy, smoky pimento spread. It’s the kind of starter that sets the tone for an indulgent meal, leaving you reaching for seconds (or thirds). •Empanadas: Bursting with flavor, these are a standout. The flaky, golden crust envelops a perfectly seasoned filling that balances savory richness with a touch of spice. Each bite feels like a small, delicious adventure. Drinks to Complement Your Meal: While The Girl and The Goat boasts a full bar menu offering craft cocktails, wines, and beers to suit any palate, the non-alcoholic options are equally impressive. The menu features thoughtfully crafted mocktails, infused with fresh herbs, seasonal fruits, and house-made syrups. Standouts include a refreshing citrus-and-mint blend and a rich hibiscus and ginger cooler, each perfectly balanced to enhance the meal without overpowering the flavors of the food. Dessert Note: •Chocolate and Peanut Butter Dessert: A decadent and satisfying way to end your meal. The harmony of creamy peanut butter and rich chocolate creates a nostalgic yet elevated experience. The textures—silky, crunchy, and smooth—make this dessert unforgettable. The Girl and The Goat’s ability to innovate while staying approachable is what makes it a perennial favorite. From small plates to desserts, and a drink menu that caters to every guest, every dish tells a story worth savoring.More infoGirl & the GoatPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• West Loop•4.8
- KKunoVIPChicago / Illinois •225 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI have a bad review of one their locations in Orland Park, on our dining experience last week 12-7-24. We decided to have dinner last night at their Oak Lawn location and no fail, this is how Copper’s Hawk is supposed to be run. Our reservation was at 7:15pm and we got there at 7:10pm. When we checked in the hostess stated our table will be ready soon. We were seated exactly at 7:15. The food, wine and the service is how this restaurant is known for. Our server (Romeo) was very friendly, accommodating with our request and often checked on us if we need anything. Keep up the great work Copper’s Hawk Oak Lawn and will be continuing to dine at this location whenever we are in the area.More infoCooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Oak Lawn, ILPrice: Moderate• American• Oak Lawn•4.4
- KKimberlyDallas - Fort Worth •7 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoFirst time here. Tremendous blend of tastes from start to finish ! We tried 3 unique cocktails and were not disappointed. The Fig Carré is my favorite. For starters the Potted Carrots and Shaved Butternut First timers & Squash were delicious! Of the pastas our favorite ended up being Stuffed Farfalle with Pappardelle coming in 2nd. The rainbow trout was excellent & light. We so enjoyed every taste! The butter cake was THE BOMB. Service was attentive and top notch . Was exceptional culinary experience.More infoDaisies ChicagoPrice: Expensive• American• Logan Square•4.7
