- CChristineYorkshire •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoIt is the second time we go to Stage as a family and the whole experience was amazing. The decor is simple yet comfortable and I loved all the black and white photos on the wall. I appreciated the cloth napkins. We went for the 6 course meal and the quality, variety and flavors were incredible. Portions were a good size and even my husband felt pleasantly full. I thought the waitress was very knowledgeable and passionate about the menu. Our only negative was how smoky it was, being an open kitchen and being close to it, so our eyes were a little watery as a result. It won’t stop us from coming again!!!!! I really liked not knowing what the menu was. We will be back in the spring or summer to experiment different tastes.More infoStagePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary British• Exeter•4.9

- DDerekCornwall •1 review5.0Dined 7 days ago🎄We had dinner at The Tartan Fox on Christmas Day. The food was excellent , - well cooked and presented and the right quantities. Yummy veg., even the sprouts! My only disappointment was that the plum and ginger trifle on the online menu had been substituted for yet another chocolate dessert. Why do restaurants presume that everyone likes chocolate? The staff were lovely. I even queried whether they had been told to smile, - such was the excess of beaming faces, but was told it was because they are all so happy there! Brilliant, or had they been given a large glass of Christmas cheer? The ambience was good, not too many people crammed in, and jolly. My little dog was somewhat traumatised by the loud bangs of the crackers, but that was my fault for not thinking beforehand. Thank you for a joyous Christmas Day🍾More infoThe Tartan Fox by Adam HandlingPrice: Expensive• British• Newquay•4.8
- MMichaelCornwall •2 reviews5.0Dined on 23 Dec 2024I really don’t understand why this place has so few visitors. Plymouth people are always complaining that there are no decent places to eat. Give pho a try before it’s too late. The food is amazing and freshly cooked with top quality ingredients.More infoPho PlymouthPrice: Moderate• Asian• Plymouth•4.3
