Best Healthy Restaurants in Desert Ridge

We were seated for our Valentine’s Day dinner five minutes early even though this was probably the restaurant’s busiest date of the year. Our waiter, Mike, is a veteran and a pro. He was very helpful, wasn’t full of himself and his knowledge and understanding of the menu as well as the type of dining experience most of his customers expect from such a we’ll know establishment, was impressive. There was nothing we asked him for which he wouldn’t have moved heaven and earth, to get for us. We had the sea bass and 8 oz. Filet as our main courses. The cut of the filet was prime and it tasted like it. It was a perfect medium rare. The sea bass was also moist and wonderful. What a great surprise this dining experience turned out to be. This was the best meal we had over our three previous nights in the Phoenix valley. Thanks Mastro’s.

Awesome food and service. Jake served our bread, Manhattan and Matcha Pina Colada quickly. The Matcha Pina Colada tho zero alcohol did not disappoint! The dinners we ordered were 1. ribeye blue cheese crusted, with baked potato, green beans and carrots 2. Double lobster tails with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. Both were served at correct temperature and were very tasty as always.

We have been to all Mastros across the US (from Chicago to LA) But have found nobody treats us better with consistent VIP service and quality than this Scottsdale location. Mike Skubisz is the Manager we count on to deliver professional, consistent service, Top Grade AAA Wagyu style! We are treated like VIPs every time. Service , food quality and staff consistently deliver perfection every visit. All his staff have remained consistent since we've been going (for decades) because of their respect for his professional management style. This was our second time having a meal here because we enjoyed our lunch so much and saw many other intriguing items on the menu we wanted to try. Four of us had dinner last evening and again were delighted! We all enjoyed our starters, drinks & entrees! The portions are generous and well-presented. And to top it off, we had excellent service from Bailey! She is professional, attentive and very friendly! We enjoyed the recommendations she gave us for the starters for happy hour too. I’m still thinking about those dumplings and roasted brussel sprouts!

Our food was delicious and Owen our server did not miss a thing. One of the best experiences I have had at North Italia – Kierland Commons! I enjoyed the meatballs as an appetizer and the arugula & avocado salad with heirloom beets added. My guest enjoyed 2 bowls of the soup of the day and a caesar salad. As great as the food was, Owen's professionalism and attention to detail was the icing on the cake!
