Best Healthy Restaurants in Ferndale

What a wonderful experience at Joe Fortes—no wonder it’s an institution! We unfortunately kept experiencing delays beyond our control and had to move our booking no less than 3 times within the hour and they were so, so gracious about it. Our server, Norm, was fantastic, and gave us excellent recommendations! The food was perfection-favorites were the calamari, lobster bisque, sablefish, arctic char, and mussels (basically everything we ordered; and the pavlova (my own baking specialty) and carrot cake were perfectly delectable! I will need to come by every time I visit (I’m from California). Make sure you make reservations as they get busy!

One of mine and my daughter's favourite restaurants in Vancouver! The Food, the portion sizes, the atmosphere, the service. All exceptional. Nice small plates so we can try a few different things and share. Just dined there yesterday and already looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent service from all serving staff for our business dinner on this occasion especially from our main server. Food was prepared first class with explanations for each dish. We will be back!

We had a great time celebrating my friends’ birthday. The waitress was friendly and very attentive and answered all of our questions. The steak was a bit over done so they replaced it for us and gave us some discounts for the inconvenience. We will definitely be back. I always used to get the rib steak but now I’ve been getting the Chicago rib steak the last few times. Both are great!

Excellent service, food and location. Right next door to Mount Baker Theatre. Will come again. Very popular so reserve.
