Best Healthy Restaurants in Lower Apperley

Great find, lovely food with great service. Lovely ambience.

It took us a while to decide on what to have, as dining with ladies of a certain age, smaller plates would be a good idea, especially if you could have starters as a main course-which one of our number had. Would like to have had the brunch menu-but noticed that only for Saturdays.

The food was absolutely delicious as always, the service friendly and helpful. However, the noise level of the music was intolerable at the first table we were shown to; the ladies already sitting there had given up on trying to converse with each other. The waiter showed us to another table, equally noisy, and then to a third which was slightly better, a little further away from the speakers, but we still had to shout to hear each other. I'm all for a lively atmosphere, and it would have been great in a nightclub, but for friends trying to talk to each other over a pleasant meal, it really was too much. A great pity, as I'm a big fan of Pho.

An excellent meal. Inventive starter - smoked eel with horseradish and beetroot, followed by a very generous and perfectly cooked piece of cod in a saffron sauce with mussels, and panna cotta to finish. The Finger Post Sauvignon Blanc was one of the best we’ve tasted. Friendly and efficient service and a really good atmosphere.
