Vatutto is a family run restaurant, Owners Paul and Myrto Recinella moved from their 16 year Institution at Zios East Melbourne to the Ivanhoe location in 2015. A full renovation was completed recently creating a modern yetelegant atmosphere. Vatutto translates from Italian to ‘Everything goes’ the menu here has a diverse flavour selection from all corners of the earth. Produce here is sourced from premium suppliers, and we use sustainable seafood from Australian or New Zealand waters, Wagyu beef from Gippsland, organic eggs, fruit and vegetables, and quality imported cheese, dairy products and flour. On New Year's Day, we dined at this establishment. I selected this restaurant for its authentic Italian cuisine, which was quite enjoyable. The pizza was particularly delicious. Additionally, we sampled the gnocchi Bolognese and fries, as well as the Cheney balls with mushrooms, all of which were very tasty. However, the service could use improvement, and the atmosphere left much to be desired. Despite this, I would rate the restaurant four stars primarily due to the quality of the food.

We all had a lovely day at Sir Henry Barkley for our Christmas dinner. The food was delicious, entree, main course and then sweets. We all came away feeling very full. A little noisy but a great day nether the less.

My friend and I both ordered the chicken satay sticks with two serves of steamed rice. The chicken was hot and tasty but I found the rice a little dry. I think it may have been reheated. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.
