Best Healthy Restaurants in Neptune

We enjoyed a delicious meal tonight. We liked the high top table in the bar area. It was comfortable and the music choices were great too. Our waitress was experienced as well as very pleasant and accommodating. We both started with a wedge salad that didn’t disappoint. Our main entrees of pork chop and halibut were fabulous. The truffle fries were amazing. Lemon ricotta cheese cake was a perfect choice to share after dinner. All in all a great experience. We will definitely go back.

This was our first time at the Grand Tavern and was not aware there was not an area to wait if you arrived early. We ended up going downtown for a cocktail while we waited for our reservation time to arrive. Apon returning, the hostess, our bartender, our waitress all we were very informative and nice. We enjoyed being able to relax with a glass of wine, not being rushed during our apps and dinner. (all selections we chose, you could see were made with care, cooked perfectly and bursting with flavors!) We enjoyed our night here and would recommend it to our friends.

Fun and bright retro diner atmosphere. Food was very good- burger and salad with grilled chicken. As a salad afficionado, I doubted a diner could pull it off well. Chicken was tasty, moist and served on a skewer and fried goat cheese was an unexpected bonus. The only negative was that bowling had been advertised online for our Valentine's Day date but the waitress said marketing had posted the event in error. Two other disappointed couples arrived to the diner asking for the same.

Far better than standard "bar cuisine". Food is always good and fresh, great live music. Server, Valerie was charming, lovely and delivered great service. Reasonable prices and good selection of wines offered.
