- NNoeleenVIPNewcastle and Northumberland •7 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoOur first visit of the New Year and it didn’t disappoint. Beautiful Goats cheese starter paired perfectly with beetroot. We both had fillets cooked to perfection, one rare , one medium rare. Then we finished with the morello cherry vanilla mousse. What can I say, absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, a piece of art on a plate. We love this restaurant! 10/10More infoNo. 59 Restaurant @ Townhouse MorpethPrice: Expensive• British• Morpeth•4.9
- SSarahNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoAdore this restaurant. We have been 3 times now, we live down in London, or else it would be so much more regular. Ted, one of the servers, remembered us (it’s been almost a year) and was so wonderful throughout the evening. Super attentive, positive and professional. So was T with our bookings. In fact all the staff are lovely and have been there since we first started coming, says a lot about the management. Food is divine, quintessentially French and tastes delicious. The Duck and Beef Bourguignon are my favorite! The music is French, which makes a huge boost to the ambiance and authenticity. If you asked me to name a negative….all it would be is that it is located too far from us to be able to be regulars. Highly recommend The French Quarter any day of the week!More infoThe French QuarterPrice: Expensive• French• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.8
