Butterjoint is a comfy bar and restaurant located in North Oakland. Our welcoming and eclectic atmosphere is appropriate for almost any occasion - whether it be meeting a friend for a drink, celebrating an important event, or relaxing after work. We went tonight for my mother's birthday and the traffic was so horrible downtown that I had to call the restaurant and ask them to extend our reservation 30 minutes and they were glad to accommodate. Thank you! Once we got there it was freezing with a draft coming in through the back hallway and again they accommodated us and moved us to warmer location. Such kind service and delicious food. I'm a big fan of this place but my parents are older and a little picky and they loved it too! Thanks to the Stellar staff for making it a Flawless evening.

I met a friend for dinner on a Thursday night and we had a great time catching up. The food is delicious, the service prompt, warm, and friendly, and the atmosphere cozy. Parking can be somewhat of a bear, but Lucca's is worth that relatively small inconvenience.
