Our Story The goal – to guarantee a wonderful meal with authentic cuisine and fabulous margaritas, serve over 50 artisanal and ancestral mezcals, and over 100 different types of tequila brands in a vibrant unique atmosphere that boasts excellent service. Ruta Oaxaca means “Road to Oaxaca,” a historic state in the southern part of Mexico. Located in the heart of Gramercy in the restored Assembly Hall of the landmarked United Charities Building, Hawksmoor is a steak restaurant that celebrates all-natural, pasture-reared, and traditionally dry-aged beef. The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. The food and service were outstanding, and the space itself is just gorgeous. Our only problem was that we could barely hear each other across the table, and I was literally hoarse the next morning from shouting to my companions. Boy is that big back room loud.

Chez Fifi did not disappoint! We had an exceptional experience from the French martini to the chocolate mousse, each dish was better than the next. The dining room has a certain je ne sais quoi and made for a lively dinner. The service was great too!

My kids (9 and 11) took the lead on this brunch review. They insisted we need to add it to our NY rotation. My son was especially appreciative of the cookie with the candle at the end for his birthday. The grown ups loved it too, food, view, vibe and service.
