Best Historic Restaurants in Bloor West Village

I had the pleasure of dining at Joni Restaurant yesterday for a Christmas dinner with my son, and it was truly a memorable experience. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The service was impeccable, with the staff being attentive, warm, and professional. The chef’s menu was outstanding, featuring creative dishes that were both beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and festive, but I couldn't help but feel that a touch of Christmas music—perhaps soft background tunes or even a live band or singer—would have elevated the holiday spirit even further. It was the only element missing from an otherwise perfect evening. Thank you to the entire team at Joni Restaurant for making our Christmas dinner special. We will definitely be back

My husband and I dined here on Christmas Eve for the Old Mill's Famous Christmas Buffet. It was excellent as always. The selection is just enormous and there's everything you could imagine. The Roast Beef and Turkey from the Hot carving station was delicious, along with Yorkshire pudding and fabulous stuffing and cranberry sauce! We never miss this buffet if we are staying at home for Christmas. A big thank you to Karen, our waitress-she is phenomenal! So personal, so attentive and just a lovely person to talk to. Thank you Karen! I look forward to celebrating my birthday tomorrow night at Disco Night at the Old Mill once again with Jay Vasquez and Groove Marmalade! The winter ala carte menu looks great as well. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night and hello to Karen and all the wonderful dining room staff who work so hard. Wow.. This restaurant left me and my partner absolutely at a loss for words. Before I begin HUGE shout out to the most amazing server I've ever met, Graham. He really curated our experience and brought a personal yet professional level of excitement to our dining experience. Every dish was crafted with immense care and quality. The story behind the dishes and the flavour profile was nothing short of a immaculate dining experiences. Huge thank you to Chef Daniele for exceptional food and a wonderful conversation. Always perfect. Service, ambience and food are top notch.

Always a pleasant experience, just walking from the new underground car park, across the new plaza is nice experience in and of itself. Accessibility could be better, more signage to show you where to get into the buildings with a rollator, could be better. Once in the Grill everything was perfect, the manager and staff are all very pleasant. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere in the bar area just a little quieter than the main dining room. The fire wasn’t lit today that was a little disappointing but that’s the only thing that was.
