White Dog Cafe's newest location brings local, seasonal, and sustainable dining to Chester County. The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor. The restaurant features seven distinct dining rooms, each with its own unique personality and design. In addition, there is an expansive outdoor patio with a gas fireplace and retractable cover. The open Barn room includes a large oval bar, a sitting area by an open fireplace, and doors leading to the outdoor potting shed. The menu includes several White Dog staples, such as Kennett Square Mushroom Soup, Double Cheddar Burger, Lamb Bolognese, Truffle Fries, and house-made bread baskets from local farms, alongside new additions.

We may be new to OpenTable, but we have been wowing our guests for over 275 years by featuring overly generous portions of the finest beef, veal and seafood served in a gracious white table cloth atmosphere. Legend has it that the Inn even served President George Washington himself in this very same historic building set in scenic Chester County.The cocktail lounge is warm and inviting, and the well thought out wine list includes a broad spectrum of varietals and geographic origins.Family friendly, the Seven Stars has not only a great Children’s Menu but also a Young Adult’s Menu.     Food was phenomenal. Service was excellent. Great farm to table food with a cute atmosphere. Highly recommend! Get the tiramisu espresso martini and the fried green tomato blt.

    Superb Chester County drinks and dining! Always an amazing time at this hidden gem. The jalapeño gin-o-rita was so good! The drinks are 10/10 and the burger was delicious! Cute, quaint atmosphere. Cheryl and her staff go out of their way to make you feel at home here. There was even a live band on Saturday night. Such a great place- can’t wait to go back!

    Food was excellent, and our server was really good and I was thrilled that they didn’t give us a hard time about having two separate checks for our table. That was an issue in the past and one thing that was making us hesitant to return, but all was good. It’s a fun place to have a meal and a drink and enjoy company of friends and family

    Wonderful evening reminiscing over numerous Tuesday night Date Nights. The libations were excellent and dinner was delicious with leftovers! Trudy and John are excellent mixologists. Looking forward to our next visit to see family and friends.
