Our first time to dine at Vic’s. A little confusing finding and walked down to the river front and went to Vic’s River Grill next door. The host at VRG kindly walked us to the Vic’s on the River entrance and explained about going through the coffee shop and using the elevator to go up four floors to the restaurant. Come to find out they have a street level entrance that we used after dinner. We had a reservation and they let our son, whom we were meeting, be seated at 5:45 or we would have been 10 minutes late so that was good. The atmosphere was great and we had a table with a window facing the river. Our server, Alix was very friendly and knowledgeable of the entire menu. She took our cocktail orders and brought us out a basket of homemade biscuits. The martini’s were very good and my son’s Malbec was good also. My son and I had the braised short ribs that came with mashed potatoes and fresh green beans which was very tender and tasty and my wife had a Caesar salad. We found the prices to be very good. We will definitely be adding this restaurant to our Savannah dining list but will find a closer parking garage and now know about the street level entrance.

Noble Fare is a cozy restaurant in Historic Savannah that is perfect for a quiet romantic dinner, or quiet gathering of friends. The white tablecloth, traditional decor and classic French style food are presented elegantly. Our server was very attentive, giving us detailed information about the special dishes of for the evening. We chose to share a Cheese Board for our starter, all 7 cheeses were very tasty. We had Duck Confit and coffee rubbed pork tenderloin for our entrees, both served over risotto. We really enjoyed both dishes, especially with the Provence Rose’ we chose from their extensive wine cellar at the establishment. A delicious slice of Lemonchello cake with decafe coffee rounded out our excellent meal. We walked a few blocks from our hotel to this delightful restaurant, since parking is limited in this area of The town. This small gem of a restaurant is worth a visit.

Service was impeccable. GM stopped by twice to check on us and even shared his local fish monger. Both dishes - elk and a triple-tail fish - used great ingredients, were well- seasoned, and beautifully presented. Good wine list, good cocktails. Not cheap, but a "you get what you pay for" kinda deal.
