Best Historic Restaurants in Downtown Tucson

We had steered away from going here for a while because the prices seemed high. Finally decided to try it for date night — and it was absolutely worth it. The food was incredible. We got a few sushi rolls and the crispy rice trio sampler. The fish was fantastic quality and the portions were generous. Only complaint was that the service was a bit slow - we waited a fairly long time before we even ordered drinks. But it was a Friday night and it was crowded, so in the future I would probably try to come back at a less busy time.

Excellent restaurant for classic experience. Very good and well presented cocktails. Food, including amuse bouche, appetizer, one main course (duck breast), and deserts excellent. One exception was entree of "pressed" chicken breast which was a bad concept. Flavor OK but very heavy and dry and too big a portion. Sides were good. Wine list pretty good and not too expensive by today's standards. Ambience, at night, excellent. Parking convenient. Not inexpensive, but not outrageous either. Have been before for lunch, will certainly return for dinner.

We had dinner and were able to eat outside. It was quiet and lovely. We didn't need heaters, but they were there in case. We started with the Dillinger side car----a great drink. I had the fish tacos. They were delicious---not quite a main meal for heavier eaters, but I wasn't too hungry so they were perfect. My friend ordered the St Louis ribs. Magnificent! Tasty and meaty.

We truly enjoyed this meal!! The pizza was delicious. You must pair the brussel sprout appetizer with the potato and pecorino pizza...literally the best combination. We love the different spaces offered and look forward to another visit next time in town!

Had a wonderful experience at HUB Restaurant & Ice Creamery. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, and the service was excellent. We ordered burgers which were delicious and perfectly prepared. The drink selection was great - we enjoyed some sodas and I particularly liked their Hazy IPA. The restaurant offers a nice blend of casual dining with quality food and attentive service. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our meal. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for good burgers in a pleasant setting with great service.
