James Beard Award-winning Chef Andrew Black makes his way back to Skirvin Hotel to open his newest restaurant concept, Perle Mesta. The restaurant will be his first concept to open since winning a James Beard award as 2023’s Best Chef Southwest and will be located on the first floor of the historic Skirvin Hotel (One Park Avenue, Oklahoma City). Perle Mesta will offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner service and the cuisine will reflect Chef Black’s continued exploration of what he calls “possibility cuisine,” a concept he attributes to his style of cooking that explores and embraces the endless possibilities of ingredients, flavors, techniques, and cultural influences. Castle Falls is situated on a historic 5-acre property and surrounded by natural beauty, an open patio area, and a vine-covered pergola, Castle Falls is a unique restaurant that is expansive and intimate at the same time. The Castle built in 1945 and styled as a Chåteau de Normandie offers The Cellar for intimate casual dining and The Primrose at Castle Falls features a five-course dining experience; both opened Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening by reservation and any day with prearrangement. Castle Falls features casual and upscale dining. Please allow a minimum of two hours for your dining experience. Though many still fondly remember the Keller in the Kastle from the 90s, German cuisine is no longer served.

    I had a business lunch with my customer. We had a lovely lunch and quite enough to have a conversation. Waitress was very attentive but let us have our meeting. All in all great place parking a bit of an issue But I will be holding my meetings here from now on

    I absolutely loved my dining experience here. Great service, wine, food, and prices. The short rib was tender and delicious, the risotto was one of the best I have had, and it had some crunch to it with the veggies. The lemon blueberry tart was divine. The portions were huge and I had a takeaway of at least a meal or two. Service was timed well and no problems getting to the Lyric show with a 6:00 reservation and 7:30 show. Definitely one of my favs in OKC now.

    Our server, Tiffani was great. Always came to the table with a smile and helped us with the menu and wine. So knowledgeable and made the experience even better. Thank you!! Food was great and loved all the Mickey pictures.
