- DDanielleNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoHans Nielsen the general manager of The Chart House is one of the best there is. I had my wedding there in 1997 and he made it perfect. We came in for dinner last night (27 years later) and the food, ambience and service was AMAZING! Our waiter who was from Belgum was super attentive and always smiling. The Ahi Tuna was THE GREATEST QUALITY OF TUNA I HAVE WVER HAD!! The lobster tails were the way a lobster tail should taste. The filet could not have been better. The experience was a 5 Star plus. It was an evening that far superceded my expectations. The view of the city is remarkable! If you want an out of this world experience go immediately to The Chart House in Weehawkin and please tell Hans that Danielle Bennett sent you 😃More infoChart House Restaurant - WeehawkenPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Weehawken•4.7

- AAndrewRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •2 reviews4.0Dined 7 days agoCame here for a first date and I was able to hear my date and the food, drinks, service, and ambiance were good. The steak sandwich and espresso martini were good and the prices were decent. They have a bogo entree night on Monday too! And the date went well!More infoElysian CafePrice: Moderate• Cafe Dining• Jersey City•4.6
- JjaneNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined on 12 Dec 2024We had a lovely lunch at the Thayer. The fried chicken was expertly seasoned and the best I've had. Crunchy where it should be and juicy and tender inside. The Cole slaw was just right. Great snap to the fries. The other dish was the Chicken Salad club. Hit every mark and totally enjoyed it. We also ordered the soup of the day and the only mishap was it was brought out not piping hot. A quick word to the waiter and the soup was retuned and the temperature was corrected. In fairness, most restaurants never serve piping hot soup, which they should. We had a view of the Hudson and the ambiance of the hotel and restaurant is old world elegance. The price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. We will definitely go back. It would be a fabulous place to watch the autumn colors. Next time.More infoMacArthur's Restaurant at The Historic Thayer HotelPrice: Very Expensive• American• West Point•3.7
