Best Historic Restaurants in Macgregor

The entire experience was fantastic from the minute we walked in the door. We were greeted and seated immediately, and the servers introduced themselves. The staff were very knowledgable about the menu and made a great wine suggestion. The appetizers, main course and dessert were near perfection! Paige, our server was very attentive, helpful, and fun. She made the meal so enjoyable! Overall, excellent!

This was our first visit to Lucille’s. Our waiter, Rick is amazing at servicing and hosting others. He shared the menu and directed us to things to try that didn’t disappoint. He treated us with so much grace and kindness. We enjoyed the time he took to get to know us and was so attentive to what our needs were while having dinner. When you visit you must ask for him to be your waiter. You will not regret it. We at the oxtail for the first time it was outstanding. Rick gave us the opportunity to try the bread pudding. Don’t leave without trying it. It was superb. The bread rolls were so good and the fried green tomatoes were excellent. We will visit again on our next visit to Houston. The atmosphere was quiet. The hostess was so sweet and welcoming. Thank you for a great experience.

A hidden treasure — though perhaps not for long. The food was the star: Imaginative and original, but to delight the senses, not to show off. The service was equally good. Attentive and helpful. In addition, the meal was nicely paced, which too many restaurants overlook in an effort (presumably) to turn the table ASAP. We enjoyed some good wine by the glass for a pleasant while before the first course was presented. Likewise, the second course did not arrive until we completed the first course. Did I mention the fact that the portions were very generous? We look forward to returning — with friends next time, do we can share this excellent restaurant!

We had a memorable birthday evening here! Hudson was our server and he was excellent, patient in explaining the menu, and also listening well to our preferences. The result was a great experience. Every dish was unique and so tasty.

Absolutely loved this restaurant. From the beautiful open concept, to the delicious food, and helpful staff, we absolutely loved it.
