A typical food love story. A boy meets a girl while eating pizza. He attends culinary school and open’s a pizza restaurant named after the girl. Thus bringing us to Emily! The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich). My sister and I are having a Girl's Weekend and we came here for brunch. We reserved an igloo and it was so adorable, heated nicely, and such a nice space. The only thing I would comment negatively on was the music--so loud. The host stand was amazing and Adam, our server, was fantastic. It'a a beautiful space with a great menu. We had a wonderful time.

Once again, a delicious meal at Neir's Tavern. This time we went for brunch. Besides the great live jazz duo, the food was delicious. I ordered the Madame Croquette, an item limited to the brunch menu. It was delicious. My husband ordered the breakfast burger, also delicious. He topped it off with an order of hot, fresh pretzels, soft enough to break and dunk into his honey mustard dip. Each brunch comes with a free drink, another great feature of brunch. We ordered the mimosa and aperol spritz. Definitely a must visit place. Dine once, and you will be back!

outstanding experience! we have been coming to Emily WV since it opened. While the food has alwys been stellar, service has steadily declined…until this visit. Our server was outstanding and made our evening very enjoyable.
