They were all cold. The rolls were soft but also cold—ick. I ordered schnitzel cordon bleu with creamed spinach and a potato cake, also a house salad with the house Parmesan vinaigrette. The salad was beautiful but the vinaigrette was just meh. It tasted like olive oil with a bunch of canned Parmesan dumped in. The schnitzel came and it did indeed have Swiss and ham on it but it looked like lunch meat ham and a slice of deli cheese that wasn’t even melted all the way. I had such trouble trying to slice pieces off the schnitzel—it seemed to be way over done. It tasted fabulous—not greasy at all but very hard to cut through. The potato cake appeared to be cooked nicely but it too—even for as thin as it was INCREDIBLY difficult to slice through. I am not a weakling by any stretch and I really had to work. Next time I’ll be sure to bring my chop saw. For dessert my daughter and I shared a slice of Black Forest cake and it was delicious. No trouble with it at all. Overall the service was so great I would definitely give this place another go and hope for a better meal. It wasn’t AWFUL but it needs some tightening up for sure.More infoRathskeller RestaurantPrice: Moderate• German• Downtown Indy•4.6

Food and atmosphere was superb. Since we were going to the Pacer game, our food was served timely and with plenty of time to spare before the game. Phil was our server and was outstanding! It felt like a dinner at home and like we knew him forever! He shared his family history with our Italian heritage friends and it made me smile knowing my Macedonian heritage was very similar to his family’s stories! The food, atmosphere and service were outstanding!More infoIozzo's Garden of ItalyPrice: Moderate• Italian• Downtown Indy•4.8
