Best Historic Restaurants in Downtown Louisville

The hot brown was fabulous. Beautiful hotel and a great place for celebrations. We loved everything.

We ate in the amber room. Absolutely gorgeous. The whole place is a show stopper! Our food (which has gotten even better since our first trip here several months ago): two incredible pizzas and two salads, was so delicious and way more than the four of us could eat. The live music made conversations a little difficult so after dinner we moved into the bar. Another phenomenal looking space. Lovely cocktails and mocktails. Highly recommend!

My daughter had the spaghetti bolognese, which she said was fantastic. I had the bison burger which tasted great but it was served medium rare in-lieu of the medium that I ordered. I ate around the edges and enjoyed what I could. We really enjoyed viewing the artwork after dinner. A perfect evening…would go back.

Fantastic find. Superb menu and a unique location. The staff was knowledgeable,friendly and fun. The house burger special, chefs 💋. Chicken and waffles one of the best in the south. All sauces are homemade which is a rarity and just adds to an amazing culinary experience.

The food and drinks were excellent!! The pretzel and bier cheese was so tasty. We tried 2 pizzas. We had the Fig&Pig and the Pepperoni. Both were excellent and we loved the thin, crispy crust. We will definitely visit again!
