The dining room is inviting and unpretentious, but the food ranks right up there with some of the best spots in Philadelphia. I have never had a bad dish here - the menu rotates seasonally but there are some stand-out staples that remain, such as the duck leg confit. The servers are incredibly knowledgable and personable. While there are bigger-name, more publicized restaurants down the street, La Fia is a hidden gem where you can have a quality meal for a reasonable price.More infoLa FiaPrice: Moderate• Farm-to-table• Wilmington•4.9

Our Autumn Salmon Salad was delicious with perfectly cooked salmon, roasted cauliflower and butternut squash, poached apples, pomegranate seeds and pepitas. Every bite had so many flavors! As a bonus, we dined during happy hour so our glasses of wine from the tap were so reasonable! Service was just right! We will dine again soon!More infoBack Burner RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Hockessin•4.5

The Brussels sprout salad, clams casino and Lobster in the Nude were great. The only downside was the clam chowder, that was all potatoes and no clams.More infoBanks' Seafood Kitchen & Raw BarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Wilmington•4.6
