Best Historic Restaurants in Punta Las Marias

The waiters were jovial and very hardworking, rushing to provide fastest service. The cocktails were delicious. We enjoyed a side of tostones while sipping on drinks and deciding on entrees. The mofongo was tasty; I ordered it with chicken which was probably a boring choice. Husband ordered a salad as his entree and it was incredibly small - he probably should have asked.

What can I not rave about this little restaurant….Karla was our waitress and when I say she and her team were next level I mean it! They treated us like family and we immediately knew we were in the right place! We came to celebrate my wife’s 30th birthday and she was overwhelmingly impressed by the service and the cocktails. The food was to die for!! 👏🏻 cheers to the kitchen staff for their amazing work as well! The cucumber cocktail is a must and so refreshing!!!! We had a variety of items from the empanadas and boar dumplings to the duck, the duck ravioli and the potato soup. Oh man my mouth is watering just thinking about this meal! Unfortunately we were not able to make it back a second time during our trip due to our flight home but next time we’re on the island we will absolutely be back! 10/10 would recommend to all my closest friends and family!!! If you’re looking for a great meal you won’t be disappointed by this restaurant!!!! Go! Go! Go! As soon as you can!

Carli’s will always be a go-to when I’m in San Juan. The atmosphere is lovely, the food fantastic, and the music wonderful. Seeing Carli play during my visit was a real treat! He even played The Tennessee Waltz and Rocky Top on that beautiful grand piano. Wow! BTW, best escargot I’ve ever eaten.

We very much enjoyed our dinner and had great service. Loved the menu, experience and food. The table next to us was not as fortunate as they had ordering issues- for example received their bottle of wine after receiving their food. I’m guessing it was a glitch but it was interesting to observe first hand why we gave a rating of 5 stars whereas they will likely give only 1.

It was very good. The food was excellent and it was a very cool indoor outdoor feel and had an open kitchen concept that we liked a lot.
