Best Historic Restaurants in Sarasota

We ordered the Valentine sweetheart special, which included a three course meal of our choice. I had a king salmon with gnocchi’s and asparagus, and my date had surf and turf, lobster tail, and fillet with asparagus and mashed potatoes. I had lobster bisque for appetizer she had strawberry salad and then we split a lava cake With chocolate and ice cream scoop on top. Everything was very good. Then afterwards he went to the bar and had a glass of wine for a nightcap and then drove home my first time at that place and it’s a gorgeous location on longboat key looking forward to going back again

We love this restaurant, but we were disappointed that they only had a limited menu for Valentine’s Day. Our waitress Sophia was fantastic and had a wonderful sense of humor. Wine and the food was delicious and prepared to our liking. The only negative is if you ask for more bread they charge you for it. We probably wouldn’t go back on any type of holiday or anything like that.

Wonderful place, yummy food, and delicious cocktails. Cristina was a delight, we have learned so much from her about the history of the restaurant.Her food suggestions were very good..Raphael was welcoming from the door, encouraging us to try the bar upstairs and he was right we had an amazing time.The ambiance and music is nice. We returned twice and also tried their other restaurant, Clasico, for good pizza and sald for lunch.Highly recommend this restaurant

My wife and I celebrated our 47th wedding anniversary with dinner at Sage SRQ. It was an extraordinarily delightful experience. The historic building makes a charmingly comfortable & tasteful setting. The menu is intriguing, and every dish was beautifully presented and perfectly prepared. It was perfect and memorable experience in every way. We have found our new go to special occasion spot. Well done!

The Reserve was outstanding accommodating the special needs of our larger group. The service was fast and the food delicious. All was beautifully served. I would highly recommend the Reserve.
