We've been proud to serve delicious made-to-order American dishes using fresh ingredients since our establishment in 2016. Approximately eighty-percent of our menu is-- or can be-- gluten-free, as we use only canola and olive oil in all of our cooking. We had the most amazing dinner last evening at 1789. A group of college friends had a chance to gather for the Holy Cross vs Georgetown game and ended the day with a very special dinner. The service was attentive, warm and happily added a seventh seat to our table for six. Our waiter described the offerings beautifully and each part of the meal was even better than explained. This was the perfect spot for such a special dinner and one that will long be remembered.

It is a great restaurant from top to bottom. Wonderful appetizers through main entree through desert. They could update the glasses of wine choices. Also they should slow down the serving between courses by about 5 to 10 minutes.
