Leo’s was first opened in 1948 by Italian immigrants Pantaleone (Leo) Mancieri and his wife Virginia (Nonni). Established mainly as a pizzeria in the State Street section of Bristol, the restaurant quickly gained a local following and served as a popular lunch destination for workers and families alike.     We went for thanksgiving dinner and came early to see if we could be seated and they were able to seat us early. We got dessert to go because we were so full from the meal. The food was fresh and delicious and the servers AJ and Katelyn worked together collaboratively on the bottom floor where we were seated. Between the 2 of them they came to check 5 different times if we needed anything. Even the bar tender Jimmy came to clear some dishes and ask us how everything was. Great experience.

    This was our first time at Maria’s. We went for thanksgiving and we were all impressed. We sat upstairs where the room was small & quiet. Our servers were fantastic. They went above and beyond. The food & drinks were done to perfection. We had a wonderful meal and it was even more impressive being a holiday. We will definitely will come again & share with others!
