Best Historic Restaurants in Yountville

Great service, very good food and drinks. The Herb Chicken was outstanding.

Everything was great it was a perfect experience and the hashbrowns were awesome.

Celadon is a beautiful restaurant tucked away along the Napa riverfront. The entry is stunning! To get into the main entrance, you walk through a tunnel of greenery. At this time of year, they have it covered in tiny white lights and holiday decorations and it makes a perfect picture taking moment! The restaurant staff are very polite and attentive. The menu offers a variety of French and American cuisine. They had a lobster risotto and Coq au vin that was super delicious and melted in your mouth! Overall, I gave it a 4 star rating. It was a little pricey and they only have one shared bathroom inside. There are more restrooms located just outside the front entrance, but it was cold and there was no heat.

Service was excellent with attentive staff. Ambience was great - nice space with a casual ambience. Food was excellent - a great variety of flavours at a good price point. We went more for the appetizers and smaller plates vs the mains so we could taste more of the menu - everything we had tasted great.

Lunch after a matinee is one of our Holiday traditions- this year it was just perfect. The restaurant was packed with diners waiting for tables lined up at the bar, so thank goodness we had a reservation (on a Monday at 3:00PM- who knew?). Once past that minor inconvenience, everything was absolutely wonderful. We shared the Tortelloni appetizer and even though I am an accomplished Italian home cook, it was the best we have ever had. Then we shared the Jack LaLane salad - partly because we grew up with him on TV and the nostalgia was undeniable- and it was perfect. It had a respectable amount of seafood and avocado and was very large. My husband said his Manhatten was excellent. We left vowing to come back soon and often.
