Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Bacon Park Area / Sandfly

Both the Fried Green Tomatoes and the Salmon were extraordinary! I would cherish the opportunity to eat that beautifully prepared salmon regularly, if I lived here. The server was genuinely friendly and extremely accommodating without being intrusive, The entire experience was fantastic, truly an evening to be remembered.

All was very good except when seated we were seated at a table so small and next to the wall where you had very little room. The table was the size you would find for two in a fast food restaurant. When fine dining, I expect to have some room and not seated on top of the next table .

Alligator Soul was an incredible experience. Exotic menu options…alligator, elk, rabbit python sausage, bison, etc. Everything was beyond delicious and served beautifully. Attentive and great service and the atmosphere was perfect. Definitely worth trying if you are a foodie!

We enjoy nice dinners out and we’re not looking for the standard River Street fare. This trip my kids came with us, so we had to consider their tastes as well. Repeal 33 was warm and inviting inside. The music was a fun mix of music that set the right tone. Our server was incredibly friendly, and the food sealed the deal. We had the schnitzel and the NY strip. That steak was memorable, and we talked about it for several nights. This was easily our best meal of the trip. The kids had burgers which looked great, and their fries reminded me just how good a fresh French fry can be. We also ordered the marrow washed bourbon old fashioneds. Overall a wonderful night that I plan on repeating next time we are in Savannah.

The food was excellent. We went for lunch so it was quiet. Seems busier and louder at night. The chicken parm sandwich was out of this world. The sauce has a a sweetness to it which I love. My daughter had the baked ziti which was sooo yummy. My other daughter had fettuccine Alfredo, the sauce was on the thin side but authentic. Hubby got the gyro sandwich (I know why would you get that at an Italian restaurant) but he says it was delicious. Our server was super sweet.
