- ZZoeSouth Wales •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoCannot fault the service at any point from entering the restaurant to leaving. Very dog friendly - can honestly say we have never before been asked how the dog would like their steak cooked! Food excellent and good value, but let down by drinks prices- specifically the wine in comparison with the food prices, but that is my only negative.More infoGaucho - CardiffPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Cardiff•4.5

Lauryn was our waitress, she was the most friendliest and politest young woman ever and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back ☺️More infoThe Ivy Asia, CardiffPrice: Moderate• Asian• Cardiff•4.5
- NNatashaJersey/Channel Islands •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoFirst class meal at BUTTERFLIES BAR & KITCHEN. From the moment you walk in to when you leave you are made to feel so welcome. The staff are just AMAZING. Having been lucky to have eaten at some amazing restaurants including Claridges, Browns and the Ivy in London the food at Butterflies is up there. Michelin star standard. Lasagne Bites and King Prawn Cocktail to share for starters. Belly Pork, Brisket Burger (plain - fussy eater), Beef Featherblade and Rump of Lamb for Mains. Cookie Dough Pudding and. Cherry Bakewell Sponge Pudding for Dessert. If you’ve not been then you need to go. This was only our second visit but has to be one of our favourite places. Thank you so much.More infoButterflies Bar & KitchenPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Pontypool•4.9
- RRyan and LydiaSouth Wales •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoAs always it’s fantastic. In the past year I feel they have really found their groove and figured out what food works and what drinks work. It’s brilliant to have something over the roath side of Cardiff that is so exceptional. We sometimes consider going to Tomos in Pontcanna of Heaney’s for a similar experience but then thing Silures is so much closer so we’ll go there. The staff are also exceptionally polite, helpful and remember you. The cocktails are severed in a classic way ( no tiki jugs here ) and are executed well. It also doesn’t take hours for them to be served. The wine list is also great. If you want a snack and a drink they also have a small bar area. I genuinely love this place, it’s a great treat.More infoSiluresPrice: Expensive• Modern European• Cardiff•4.9
