- FFrankGreater Boston •2 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoFirst time at Branch Line. Ambience is very nice, modern and open but visually appealing. Service was excellent; knowledgeable and helpful wait-staff. Food came quickly and was nicely cooked, e.g. fish nice and soft, moist but completely done. Sauces were savory and not too salty. Delicious hot chocolate brownie dessert. Wine list is interesting and reasonably priced. My only issue is that it is pretty noisy, so don't plan on a quiet, intimate conversation. Else, definitely worth the money.More infoBranch LinePrice: Moderate• American• Watertown•4.7
- MMarleneVIPGreater Boston •60 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoSycamore creates consistently excellent food and drinks. Last night's boudin blanc is a treasure -- only prepared in December, and it runs out in early January -- is it a delicate, flavorful white sausage that is like eating soft clouds of umami. So good! Also, the lamb two ways was exceptional -- small rack plus lamb confit wrapped in dark leaves, served on a flavorful couscous. They also happily prepared a vegetarian version of their gemelli carbonara, with chunks of squash and forest mushrooms. Bartender Scott remains a standout -- makes great drinks and is funny and whimsical. Owner Dave was gracious, as always. We have been to Sycamore time and time again, and they never disappoint.More infoSycamorePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Newton•4.9

The waiter (I believe his name was Nate) picked up on that and brought her three ice cream bon bon’s to help celebrate! Great for winter sipping. They were happy to customize our meals to accommodate our food preferences. Food is always served as soon as it is cooked.More infoTempoPrice: Moderate• American• Waltham•4.7
