Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Villanova

Thanksgiving dinner in a restaurant can be a disappointment. I've always made it at home but this time we decided to try Teca for our holiday dinner. We're glad we did. The place was busy when we arrived for our 6:00 reservation for four, looked full. Our server, Thomas, was busy, too, but very personable, pleasant, and attentive. The food was very good, better than expected on a night like this. Bravo Teca, good job.

Enjoyed an excellent Thanksgiving meal. Each individual dish on the holiday platter was tasty, the seasonal cocktails were spot on, and the service was warm and attentive. An amazingly good value for a delicious holiday meal. Highly recommend.

Our server was amazing - super friendly and upbeat and helpful. She even brought out some ice cream with a candle for my son’s birthday! Probably the best server we have had ever - even our kids commented on her and they had both worked in restaurants!

We were greeted, seated and then treated to a lovely dining experience. We started with a couple of the specialty cocktails-Romarin and Nouveau Basilic: their pour was generous as our drinks lasted through our meals. A bonus of a basket of bread was brought to our table, such a rarity! Baguette, sourdough and what seamed a seasonal bread with cranberry and walnuts with beurre---seemed such a treat! Our waiter was attentive and made well informed dinner suggestions after asking us our preferences and we enjoyed the beef bourguignon; duck a l'orange and roasted chicken. Parc has made our top 10 list of places to eat while in Philly!

We discovered 118 North September 2024 and have gone to 4 shows with the new years show up next. Lots of fun! Bar food is ok and service is about what you’d expect in a crowded venue like this.
