Hi Neighbor!At Trestle, we remember a time, not too long ago, where people took pause to enjoy a meal in the presence of great company, giving it the reverence and respect deserved. An exceptionally stylish supper club, civilized speakeasy, a sophisticated saloon. Each of these "personae" is housed in a soaring two-story interior distinguished by a gently curving mahogany bar, fluted columns with ornate capitals, stunning original art, plush banquettes, cozy booths, starched linens, glittering glasses, and polished flatware. Overall, the ambiance is pure 1930's and 1940's - tasteful art moderne reminiscent of the glory days of Cunard and French Line ships. Fashionable and glamorous are the hallmarks. Great jazz club and restaurant with two stories. We had a table for two next to a large group of young people by the piano and base player so the sound level was loud. After the large group left we could hear each other talk and the music much better. The service was impeccable. The food was very good . The entrance is located down an alley. The young people were dressed very casually but everyone else was dressed up a little. Over all it was a great experience.

Always on point. Quickly seated and greeted. Great menu. Excellent wine list, and clever cocktails. Good service, engaging and helpful. The tartare is absolutely fantastic. Wonderful salmon, clever preparation and composition, and perfectly delicious. Chicken sandwich is huge and very tasty, the flavors weaving together. Enjoy.

Went to Trestle for a long overdue date night. It was perfect! I was able to get a same day reservation. The neighborhood was lit up and romantic. The service was attentive without being overbearing. The food was excellent (beet carpaccio, seared trout, coconut panna cotta). I was worried that the portions were on the small side, but I left super satisfied. Fine dining at less than $50/per person in San Francisco is a steal! I will be back.
