Butterjoint is a comfy bar and restaurant located in North Oakland.     This was A Birthday dinner for me that my wife wanted to set up. We had 4 of our friends who joined us for this.The service was be on Perfect. Our Waiter (Nell) Went way about great. I used to live in Pgh. for Manny years.( Things Have changed a great deal in 20 years) This Restaurant in this building is Fantastic. The Food was very good. I used to know the Man that ran Station Square. (William Roberts) And he was in our Lodge. So I have been there many years ago. Keep up what your doing. I will be back. Jack

    Perfect. I am frequently there. Ashley- server. 1st time I’ve seen her. Best server I’ve ever had. She was sweet,’funny, attentive. Love her. Great seeing Jeff per usual. So nice to go to a place where the manager remembers your name. Even the valet was great. Food so good. I ate way too much and would do it again. Love it

    The pasta dishes were superb, as was the salad with lump crab meat and avocado. The panini, however, was disappointing. The bread was two slabs of thick, Texas-style bread, and the filling was very thick. Along with the Italian meats and cheese, there was shredded lettuce. If it was cooked on a Panini Press, the chef/cook forgot to close and press it. Obviously, whoever made the Panini has never been to Italy.

    I've enjoyed multiple visits to Paris 66 for dinner and Sunday brunch, but last night may have been the best dining experience that I've had there so far. The pan seared lamb was absolutely magnificent, perfectly cooked and unbelievably tender; the waiter offered to get me a steak knife to cut it, but I didn't need one! The sauce chasseur was the perfect accompaniment to the meat and this was probably the most delicious lamb dish that I've ever had! Bracketed by escargots as an appetizer and crepes Versailles for dessert, this was a meal to remember! As always, my waiter was cheerful and attentive.

    The food was great, the experience sitting watching the chefs make the food really added to the evening. The server was fantastic, she took time to explain , for the evening and the different foods that we were about to have. Overall, great time.
