Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Mirage Hotel & Casino

Always iconic when it comes to service and food. We enjoyed our Christmas dinner and as always is was without exception. Service, food, cocktails, presentation, decorations were perfection. The Bone Marrow was simply amazing, pure indulgence. The rib eye, prime rib and chicken parmigiana were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Finished our evening with espresso and the bananas foster. Some may say Golden Steer is not worth the wait to get a reservation, but when you are on the Mount Rushmore of Las Vegas steakhouses, it takes time, but well worth the wait. As Las Vegas valley locals, we can eat anywhere but we chose to continue to frequent Golden Steer and its for a reason.

Very interesting flavors and dishes. The Chef and his team seem very talented and passionate. I really enjoyed the Culinary journey they took us. Every single bite we took was full of flavors and umami. A mix of cultures and cuisines that worked beautifully for each course and made you crave more. You have a beautiful location, a true jewel for the city. Thank you so much for creating something different from the usual. We were very impressed.

I had an absolute amazing time at Esther’s Kitchen. From the ambience to the decor and service, it’s all tip notch. I came in to surprise my now fiancée after proposing to her in her birthday and they congratulated us with a glass of wine of the house. Our server, who I believe is named Alex, was absolutely stellar and did an amazing job explaining the menu and some of there great dishes there. I knew what cocktail I wanted to try and it was a great balance of the bourbon tase but with a subtle sweetness. My fiancée didn’t know what she really wanted and Alex made her a cocktail that was spot on for her palate with a few questions! We ordered the Basil, Burrata, and Anchovy butter to go with the bread and they all were great, highly recommended! I ordered the dry age steak and my fiancée ordered the Risotto and both were wonderful,. The steak had a great crust on the steak with a good depth of flavor. The risotto was super rich and flavorful. I recommend adding the Parmesan on top to make it that much better. I can’t wait to come back in the future to try more of the menu! One of, if not, the best dining experience off strip in Vegas that isn’t crazy on your pockets! Make sure you ask for Alex, she is amazing server and made our special day that much better!

Our server Austin made the whole experience for us. He was attentive and very personable which was impressive during a busy Christmas evening. The salad bar selection was large and delicious. The meats were flavorful, as well. It was a lovely dinner and would recommend the restaurant to others.

It was our first time in Virgil's and the experience was great! It was Christmas night and we were able to book a table quickly. The ambiance was festive and there was live (Christmas) music which was a nice touch. Food was good, we had Beef Brisket and BBQ Chicken and they both were tasty and arrived quickly. The service was the best part. Hostesses were friendly and accomodating and our server was frequently checking in on us even though it was a full house. Great overall experience and would not hesitate to go back!
